As the deadline closes for my Msc Thesis, things start to turn funny around here. First of all, my laptop broke its network card, so I’m seeing myself back to the old computer lab. Which ended up being a good thing, for two reasons:
1- I can concentrate better here than at the Lego Castle.
2- I can meet other students desperate to finish their Thesis until feb.
One of these friends, Sheila, has been here in the lab with me since saturday, everyday. Today she
was having some problems with quoting in latex (indenting an entire block of text to the right), and I managed to find some answers. Thanks good Cleber, for he was the one who actually pointed me to the answers.
% Whatever you need here in your doc
%Now the needed tex Voodoo
%Whatever more you need
This will move your text to the right like in an "description" envirionment.
You can put quotes inside of quotes. Downside is that you lose first line
indentation. I think you can fix it with indent.
This is about the same than the one before, except that you can choose
both margins. It is more powerfull, but what fun is Latex if you start
messing with the margins yourself directly into the text?
This information was taken from this latex manual. By the way, I have some troubles inserting back slashes into WordPress… inserting the & # 9 2 code (without the blanks) worked fine. But it is a clunky hack.
