Just a quick rest…
- If you want to plot mathematical functions in linux, you use gnuplot.
- But if you want to calculate and plot a time-series function, you need to use octave (which uses gnuplot).
- And if you want to output the plotting to a file, you need to use the low level command gset (and get an ugly warning on your face)
- And, finally, if you want to see a baka gaijin performing a Jikishin kageryuu kata on the Waseda Culture Festival, you follow this link
octave:n>gset terminal png
octave:n+1>gset output "filename"
octave:n+2>plot (your momma)
