Cool shit on the internet:

One red paperclip.

Found out about this site today on slashdot. The story is already over. Basically, the guy wanted to trade his red paperclip up and up until he got a house. And a house he did get!

Well, many of those trades were more of publicity stunts from people trying to ride on his wave, so the “barter value” of the history is not as high as it could be. But still is an impressive feat.

The interned is full of wonders.

hehehehehehehehehe…. é IMPRESSIONANTE o que as pessoas fazem pelo mundo afora.

E mais impessionante ainda é a curiosidade das demais pessoas, querendo saber o que se passa na vida alheia…

    (eu, por exemplo, hehehehehe)

"The time-honored "I now pronounce you man and wife" at weddings has largely been replaced by "I now pronounce you husband and wife". Some etymologists find this amusing, as "wife" is Old English for "woman", while "husband" is Old English for "householder"; the original expression was meant to define a moment when both members of a couple officially and legally became equally committed to adulthood."
