Picotachi 78

Yesterday I spent the afternoon and the evening at Pico Pico Cafe, in kichijoji.

Pico Pico Cafe is an event space that every now and then opens as a cafe as well. On that evening, "Picotachi #78" was going to happen, and the cafe was open from 14:00.

I really like the space. It is cozy and has all sorts of old games and books. So I went a bit early to finish my new-year card, and maybe play a little bit of Famicom :3

By the time I finished the card, though, it was already almost time for Picotachi, so I didn't have time for Famicon T_T. But I did have some time for coffee and coconut cookies.

I also had some time to think what I wanted to do during my new year break. I have been thinking a lot about it these days -- what I want to do for the break, and what I want to do for 2026... but I think I'll leave that for my "new year" post.

The event itself was nice, but because there were a bit too many people, I felt like running away a bit early...

On my way there and back, I also listened to a podcast about the recent elections on the Malvinas / Falkland islands. Now I know more about the Islands than I ever thought I wanted to >_>;
