Backfilling the Blog -- 2012-2014

Today was a rough day at work -- I had to attend several thesis defense presentations, prepare documents for more thesis defense presentations tomorrow, record a video for a lecture this week, AND talk to my students about papers they are writing and graduating presentation.

Whew, and I was not feeling super great to begin with. Let's just say that the amound of coffee I drank today is well beyond my 2 sigma.

Somehow, that motivated me to be "productive" tonight -- instead of playing Oxygen Not Included, I decided to continue moving my old blog posts to the new eleventy blog. When I stablished the 11ty blog, I used a tool that converted all my wordpress blogs to the markdown format used by eleventy. Although I moved many posts to the new blog, most of the older posts still remain.

This time I moved all posts from 2012 to 2014, the first years after I moved to Tsukuba. So. Many. Dead. Links. Also the tags are all messed up, a problem for another day, I guess.

I just hope adding all these old posts at once does not mess things up for anyone using an RSS to follow this blog. If it does, I apologize!
