Tokyo Game Dungeon 12

2026 May 03

This weekend I went again to Tokyo Game Dungeon, an event for small indie developers to show their games. In my post for Tokyo Game Dungeon 11, I took the time to add screenshots and long descriptions for each game. This time I feel tired, so I'll just do a very quick blurb of the games that I liked. Go check them out on steam/itch!

  • Please Knock. The Sloppy Researchers Life. A visual novel with cute, low res graphics.

  • Shibuya Sushi Master. Va-11-Hall-A, but in futuristic Shibuya, and you are a sushi master.

  • MaiDestruction. A giant maid fight against a giant UFO, while they destroy the little houses under their feet. This one is just delightful, and embraces the silliness of the premise.

  • Autie Heroes an RPG where each of the four heroes is an autie over 40!

  • Typo Magical. The dev described this game as "Vampire Survivors + Typing game". Bonus points for a demo on Itch!

  • Finding Polka. The big star of the show: a beautifully hand-draw where-is-waldo like game, with plenty of charm and mini games. Definitely worth checking it out.

You can see the other games in the Tokyo Game Dungeon 12 steam page. This is a pretty amazing event, and I highly recommend if you are in Tokyo! The next editions will be on 8/8 and 10/31.
