I spent the last week playing Subnautica for the first time, and really liked it! I wrote down some of my impressions, and reflections on using spoilers. (the post is mostly spoiler-free)
Where I review some of the media that I saw/read during my travels in the last two weeks: The Billion Dolar Code; I’m a spider, so what; That time I turned into a slime; Amazing Attorney Woo; Everything, Everywhere, All at Once; Atlas of AI. It was a pretty good haul!
Last week I did a lot of paperwork, started playing Caves of Qud, and kept working on my pico-8 roguelike. I’m feeling really anxious about the work trip next week.
I review “Evolutionary Computation, A Unified Approach” (2006) by Kenneth De Jong, which seems like a great “Intro to EC” book for me to hand to new students.
